Debate Box Dinner

A few weeks ago we put our best foot forward for catering the inaugural DebateBox, an amazing event for the collaboration between charity Debate Mate and the local Cuban Boxing Academy at the Harrow Club. It truly is an incredible and positive initiative which we were honoured to have been able to support.

DebateBox is an innovative intervention programme for disengaged students on the verge of falling out of mainstream education.  The programme focuses on the shared skills of debating and boxing: strategy, discipline, focus, confidence, and quick thinking. The participating students demonstrated outstanding success with 80%+ positive results. The students were all affected personally by the Grenfell Tower disaster, but remained resilient and committed.

The evening was lively, entertaining and thought-provoking. It was great to see such focused, positive energy and the atmosphere was electric.

We wish DebateBox the best of success for the future, and thank you for letting us be a part of such a special evening!
